"NO HARVESTING MIRAA TILL FURTHER NOTICE" MERU MIRAA FARMERS AND BUSINESS OWNERS DECLARE

 

Today Miraa Miraa Leaders, Farmers, Business People and Pluckers Met at kiengu igembe central to discuss issues affecting the miraa business and the solutions that can get the business back to its heydays.

Despite their political differences they decided to focus on one agenda of liberating Miraa Product from the unknown Cartels.

During this meeting, the people declared that they will no longer Pluck, Sell nor Transport Miraa to somali for a given period of time until Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) between Miraa Farmers and Pluckers welfare Association and Somali Traders will be sealed up.

The meeting was graced by igembe central mp Dan kiili and Tigania mp Mpuuru abuuri.

Igembe south mp Johnpaul mwirigi was absent at the meeting which led to people questioning the move since his area is a miraa hub.
